T-mobile pay as you go cell phone cell plans?

Currently subscribed to at&t wireless service in Wichita, Kansas. Even when it is offering nice service i still don't feel the freedom which I always lookout for. Recently my friend told me about the pay as you go cell phone plans offered by T-mobile which really sounds very impressive considering that i got sleek calling and heavy messaging needs. . Can anyone here provide me details on pay as you go cell phones in my area..
