Will the t-mobile service provide discount on the cell phones purchased from them (phone G1) ?

You must be upset for the mistake you did for buying a handset which has a lot of issues using it.

Please do not be disappointed by my answer because it is not possible to avail any kind of discount from T-mobile company because of their rules and regulations.

If you were anyhow using the mobile / handset made from their own company then they might have allowed but it purely depends upon the new and changing schemes of the market. if there is an exchange offer going on in the market, they will not object changing it, but if there is no such exchange offer, then i must say please wait for such thing to happen because they are not very far away ever.

Moreover i want to give you an advice, you can just walk into your nearest Mobile dealer's place (not the showrooms). Sometimes they provide much better schemes which are worth buying. They do it to sell their old lot or sometimes just for the publicity or whatever.

Do not be surprised to see such big discount or scheme because they are actually just cutting off their marginal profit.
