Is there an mp4 video editor that I can use for free?


I have recently purchased the computer system. Everything was going great until I needed to edit the videos I made. They are in mp4 format and it refused to convert them as this will take away its HD look. Windows Movie Maker doesn't work. I want to know if there is a video editor that allows you to edit mp4 videos for free. By editing I mean trimming, splitting, adding text, and adding audio. I've tried trial software’s, but they only let you edit mp4's if you buy. Please help.

Yes, It is very true that Software that are developed for video editing purpose are not available for free. Instead the company will provide you a trial period to use the software and explore the features in them for a short period of time and after the trial period you have to purchase them if you need to use them further. It is always our own choice whether to buy or not. There are even few free of cost software but not much effective. Let me list some free video editing software :

  1. Any Video Converter
  2. Avidemux
  3. 4Easysoft MP4 Converter
  4. Aiprosoft Total Video Converter.

You can just download it from internet and make use of it from any source you prefer. But also know that for your computers safety , always use the paid ones. It is always the best option to go with. Hope you take a wise decision. Good Luck!
