Which are the best N900 apps?

Congrats on the new phone, I too am an N900 user and for sure it is a blessing in one’s hand and a source of envy for the others. It comes with Maemo5 and is quite a nice OS.

Now talking about the software one can add to increase the performance is

1. FCamera: This app is a must have for photography nerds. The software gives you various features as ISO, Exposure time and WB. These features enhance the camera quality which is quite good for daylight photography but is a bit shoddy at night. Other software relating to camera is Bless N900.

2. Dual OS: Now if u didn’t know already yes you can install two different OS at once and chose which one to run. Best part is the other OS can be Android or Ubuntu. So, you can easily add their much wanted apps as well.

3. Mobile Hotspot: Although this app might not be available for free and you may have to buy it but it’s worth every penny. Impressing one’s boss or girlfriend was never so easy. What it does is it makes your N900 as a Wi-Fi hotspot to which other devices can get connected to.

4. KMPlayer: No more of codec not found error. Play any movie in its best resolution on KMPlayer. Sometimes will beat a home-theater by is experience.

5. Internet Browser: You can either have Firefox or Chrome installed right in your N900 and change your Internet experience all together.

6. Worth Mentioning-Sound Recorder: (For the spy in You), Torch (to make your flash work as a torch if you get lost in a dark alley somewhere) and Android Theme (A theme u would love to flaunt more than the phone).

6. Easy debian: This one’s a whole topic in itself so it’s worth mentioning. This one will take a lot of research from your side but is an amazing app.
