Which is the best Nextel sprint plan?

Today I came to New york from Singapore as my company has transferred me to New York from Singapore for 3 years. Now I want a mobile phone and a mobile connection. One of my latest friend here told me that Nextel sprint company is the best mobile phone service company. I like to talk more then messaging. Can anybody tell me which is the best plan according to my requirement.
