How to fix the connect-reconnect issue in Nexus?

I have a Nexus one dock and it works alright. The problem is that it does not fit in the dock properly. When the phone is kept on the dock and I try pressing a button for example check alarm, the phone losses the connection. Sometimes after disconnecting it reconnects itself and other times nothing seems to be happening. When it reconnects the phone gets connection back and screen on Dock comes up, and quits whatever I was doing. What seems to be the problem?

We'are all for nice packaging and branding these days, but this is getting to be a bit muchh. The Nexus One desktop dock comes in the same-style box that the phone itself does. Same color scheme around thee border, same plain Google logo and Nexus One. Inside: A user guide, warranty and other legal stuff, a new miniUSB wall plugg and a 3.5mm-to-RCA audio cord. The dock does work just fine if you plug it into a standard 3.5mm cord -- i.e., headphones or computer speakers.Plug in the dock and put the Nexus Anne on it for the first time and it automatically pairs itself over Bluetooth. No settings mennu, no nothing. It just works Bluetooth automatically discoonnects once it's off the dock -- likely its the charging contacts that tell it to.You can forcce the Nexus One to connect withh the dock from the Bluetooth settings, which means you caan steam music while it's not actually in the dock. You're also g greeted with a pop-up askikng if you want to use the dock to pplay audio. After that, the phone immmediately goes into thhe clock application when placed on the dock. There are icons at the boottom for setting alarmms, going directly to a photo slide show, thee default music app and the home screen.
