Can someone share Nokia C3 review?

I have been using Nokia 5310 for a while but I am planning to change my mobile phone to Nokia C3 as my parents are gifting me the phone on my birthday this year. I saw some reviews online and found the phone quite exciting as it is having Wi-Fi features and some shortcuts for social networking web sites. I also came across negative views like sudden turning off problem etc. Are these rumors true?

The Nokia C3 measures 115.5 x 58.1 x 13.6mm and it weighs 114g. It has very sleek design. It should be of very particular interest to the active social media persons. Nokia C3 is touted and marketed as a messaging phone and rightly so, using the breezy smooth QWERTY keypad. It has support for the most popular messaging platforms such as SMS, email and popular instant messaging platforms such as Yahoo! Messenger, MSN via Ovi Chat. There is also Opera Mini 4 installed for your entire web browsing need. You can open any mail in this mobile, your personal server mail also. You can be online whole time on facebook, twitter, gtalk and can also open Mobile linkedin in it.

There are special dedicated headers right below the display which provide instant access to the highly important function needed in the mobile like messaging, e-mailing or social networking. This model is meant for such functions. The reasoning behind the instant accessibility provision for the activities of social networking or messaging is that they can be accessed very easily and directly from the start screen.

It is very convenient that the possibility to configure the start screen of Nokia C3 handset as per the owner’s taste. There is the facility of showing the favorite contacts of the owner just above the display which allows the owner of the handset to contact them very easily and instantly. Also, just beneath it one can happily get the display of Facebook and Twitter account feeds which in turn helps to update their account information. Also, available is the Ovi store easy access to get needed applications. Though this handset has all these features, unfortunately, it lacks the 3G support and the connection will be established at the fastness of GSM / GPRS / EDGE. Amazingly, as if to compensate the lack of 3G feature, it has the latest technology of Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g), which is a feature that is not that much common in S40 Smartphones. This handset is also provided with a 3.5 mm plug, 2.0 Megapixel Camera and USB connection.

The C series is aimed at people who want a budget handset and also want good communication features, hence the mini QWERTY keyboard that adorns the front and built-in Ovi Maps and Ovi Chat. So don’t believe in rumors about the sudden switching off, they are just “rumors” and keep in mind that its brand Nokia that you can always trust.
