Ca someone share about Nokia n97 mini?

Next week it's my brothers birthday and I want to gift him a phone and I have taken advises from my friends and they advised me to buy Nokia n97 mini. Though they don't know much about its features and specification but they have seen some people around them who use Nokia n97 mini and they say it's the best. So, before I make a choice I want you guys to share a complete Nokia n97 mini review.

N97mini is the scaled down version of N97 which came with a big hush but was quietly discontinued. Most of the features of the N97mini and N97 were same minus the internal memory and the display screen.

Now specifically reviewing N97mini, one would have to say it’s been there in the market for quite some time now. It was released in October 2009 and has now been permanently discontinued. But the question now is that is it worth spending that amount of cash on a phone that has so many competitors below its price range both from Nokia itself as well as other phone providers.

A typical N97mini would set you back by $370 or 18700 Indian Rupees, now one can easily say that isn’t cheap and sure it isn’t. Firstly let me tell you the main features that the phone offers 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen display, QWERTY keyboard, 5 MP Camera, 434 MHz processor. Now if you compare this with any multimedia phone in this price range and below as well you will receive quite a few with even better features. Namely one can say HTC, Samsung GALAXY, Sony Xperia, Motorola DEFY, Nokia C6, Motorola Milestone, LG Optimus and Dell Venue. Now this is quite a competitive field for any phone but this is a hands down losing situation for N97mini because these phones have better features, are new to the market whereas N97mini has been discontinued.

So, I would recommend not to buy and look at the other opinions.
