Nokia Plans WiMAX Phones By 2008

You know what guys! You won't have to pay more bucks in the year 2008 to make a call to another network since Nokia has announced that it will drop the cell phones featuring the WiMAX Internet technology in 2008.

Well, Nokia hasn't given any detailed info about their appreciable program. For your info, the WiMAX (officially called 802.16 monikers) comes in two styles- fixed location and mobile.

Nokia further announced to start shipping the Flexi WiMAX Base Station in 2007 that will enhance the wireless Internet connectivity.
