I always say that concept phones are great as you don’t have to think of all the mundane stuff. Now, Syntes Studio has proved it by designing the O2’s latest phone dubbe Cocoon. Taking proper care of the whole experience of the device, both software and hardware, the Cocoon has been designed to impress us with its glossy white exterior, blue LED scrolling displays, and the way it flip opens to reveal a dark center.

O2 Cocoon is scheduled for an August release in UK but who knows how many features will be dropped or added by that date. The Cocoon plays music and boasts a 2-megapixel camera with flash, video camera, and Bluetooth. The phone has dedicated music keys and can store up to 500 songs. Moreover, you have the microSD card slot to store even more. The Cocoon transforms into an alarm clock when placed in its Nest. Check out some more concept renderings of the beautifully designed Cocoon.
