Opinion on HTC Leo?

The HTC Leo is one of the world’s first Windows-based smart phone with amultitouch capacitive screen. It has one of the largest mobile phone displays- a 4.3-inch screen - which dominates the front, leaving just enough space fora speaker on top and buttons below, giving it a tablet-style look.

The phone comes with a 1024 MHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU. The coolthing about the HTC Leo is that it automatically underclocks itself to 553 MHzif and when extra processing power is not needed, although it has beentweaked to clock the processor at 998 MHz. It’s the first WinMo phone to beusing HTC’s Sense UI as well.

Now for the sad part of the story. The phone is great unless it is used as aphone. If you’re trying to set up an email account, it seems to think you’re inthe USA and by default, makes all your server addresses to the USA version. Theworst part is that it won’t even allow you to overwrite this value.

Now as a multimedia player it still stinks. You cannot control the volume ifyou are listening to music and if the screen is off, and somehow you can’t goforward or backward too.
