Can anyone give an overview on Augen Tablet?

Augen is a leader among the tablet market. This Gen Touch 78 is powered by android operating system. This phone is completely made up of plastic and is satisfactorily less weight in nature. This tablet measures 7 inches and is easy enough to hold it in single hand. The phone comes along with the leather case to hide the poor quality of its plastic made body. The phone has an USB port, 2.5mm jack for head phones. This phone has a slot for microSD. The screen offers only 800X480 resolutions which are very disappointing. To navigate or select some menu one has to press hard really on the screen to access it.

The biggest disadvantage in this phone is placing home, back, and menu and search buttons on the back of this device. Since these devices are placed on the backside it is kept out of sight and is not easily usable while doing multitasking in an android. While using the phone for long time one can notice the warming up of the phone quickly. The android 2.1 version is only installed and Augen claims that it is upgradable to 2.2 version. This tab has internal memory of only 2 GB but has memory card slot which supports up to 16 GB.
