Recycle cell phone?

I have decided to recycle some cell phones lying in my drawer. It would be better to recycle those all rather than throwing in open air. All the handsets are used very badly so these can not be put on sale. Guys, I have been trying to find out the process of recycling old cell phone for last one month, but there is no any positive result yet. The handsets would be brought under the recycling process with their charger and batteries also, so it is very important to do something to recycle cell phone. Do you have any idea about it? Please post your suggestions and ideas.
