How to repair N73 ringtone cell phone problem?

I have a Nokia N73 cell phone with me. It is not working properly as the ringtone is becoming dull and dull everyday. First it used to be a very loud ringtone but now it is becoming dull. I do not know the reason of it. please tell me if you know the reason of it and also tell me how can I repair it on my own.
