Replacement cell phones?

So guys, my handset is not working in proper way. Its keyboard has got some problem and I have to press the keys very hard to right any text. So I have decided to replace my handset with a perfect handset. I am using AT&T cell phone with contract deals. I am looking for such handsets that can support the AT&T network. Guys, is it possible to replace my handset with an unlocked handset if the replacement phone is also from the same network service provider? Moreover, can I switch over pay as you go plan within the contract period? Guys, it is necessary to replace my handset, so please take it seriously and pass your experience. Thanks in advance.

at&t networks are being supported by replacement cells. You can surely replace your cellphone, but before getting a replacement cellphone, u need to check few things in it. These things are, wheathr you are buying a gsm, cdma, or iDen. Your current cellular carrier may offer a discount on a replacement phone if you always pay your bill on time and you’ve had your current phone for more than a year. If you are truly a good customer, you may be able to negotiate your way to an even better deal.i f you aren’t able to take advantage of the first or second scenario described above, your best option may be buying a phone from an independent online store or on eBay. You are likely to pay less than buying direct through a carrier or dealer, but don't expect significant savings. The phone manufacturers and carriers have done an amazing job of controlling the availability of new phones in the marketplace, so the only bargains to be had are generally on "yesterday's" phones. Pay as you go plan is something that will not charge you every time with big fees or subscription. Although initially it will charge you few bucks. Yes, pay as you go plan is possible for your at&t network. But for that you hav to end up your current running contract and end the service plan that you were having till time.
