Samsung's P900D Bestowed With TV Viewing Functionality

The multimedia capabilities are the most prominent feature that a customer looks for in a cell phone these days. Samsung has rolled out yet another phone, P900D that enables the users to watch television on their cell phone display.

Using the Digital Multimedia Broadcasting standard, the new Samsung P900D offers 8TV channels, 14 radio stations and 2 visual radio stations. Samsung is making use of 'L-Band' to broadcast the signals.

Moreover, Samsung is planning to introduce 4 more channels to the list using the 'L-Band' . No words on pricing and availability.
