Sanyo's SCH-7000 available in USA through Sprint

Remember the SCP-7000 phone by Sanyo well after the FCC nod it will now be available in USA through Telesales and Sprint.com.

It has a large LCD display able to display 65K colors. The dimensions of this phone are 3.4 x 1.9 x 1.0-inch and have got built in speakers.

Will the current battery recall of Sanyo in Japan will hit the prospect of this phone in USA.

The phone is GPS enabled and the Li-ion batteries give a talk time of 3.5 hours. The phone has parental controls which restrict incoming and outgoing calls and also will limit access to Sprint PCS Vision and Sprint PCS Ready Link services.

The phone will retail at $179.99 without service agreement and for $29.99 with a two year service agreement.
