Why I am not able to send pictures from computer to cell phone via Bluetooth?

I have many pictures in my phone which I want to copy in my laptop as it is taking a lot of space in my phone and I can’t delete them as they are important for me. I have lost my data cable of my phone, so I want to transfer it via Bluetooth. But my laptop is not able to search my phone Bluetooth. So tell me that how can I send them in my computer?

Now there can be various reasons as to why your Bluetooth is not visible. I’ll discuss all the cases below. We will start with the basic errors to the complex ones

1. Most basic of all, Bluetooth should be switched on in both the PC and the Mobile device.

2. Also keep both the devices in close vicinity to each other.

3. Double check that both your Bluetooth devices are able to connect with Bluetooth devices separately. Even if one of them fails the test that would mean there is a certain hardware problem in one of them and you would have to get it checked at the dealership store.

4. Discoverable Mode: Mobile phones now give user the option to use Bluetooth devices like hands-free without their Bluetooth signal being readable by anyone else. This is like only allowing certain devices to allow access to your device while for other devices your device remains invisible. This protects your device against hacks as well from spamming of request for permissions. You should go into the Bluetooth settings and see if your mobile phone is visible to all and if it isn’t then do it.

5. Version of Bluetooth (The least probable): Many a times there is a difference in Bluetooth version causes a problem during searching and transfer. Make sure the Bluetooth versions are the same and double check if the appropriate drivers are correctly installed in your PC.
