There are two or three ways to do it.

First is by registering your name in web sites like Gmail and Skype. You log in to their official web sites and then you can make calls from your computer to your phone.

You talk from Gtalk, this is the best software and I use it on regular bases. Google provide free calling facility in whole USA.

You can download Skype version and with some limited account in your mobile you can make calls from your mobile.

4.

You can also use free sms services provided by various web sites, where you can resister and can send message to any one that’s too free of cost. Some of the famous websites are mysms, 160by2.com.
