Sprint Hero Update?

I am requesting my father from a long time to buy me a cool cell phone and to my surprise this time he gifted me Sprint Hero. I started a web search and came across this stylish phone named ‘HTC Hero Sprint’. Now, I need a favour from you in this regard. Can you give me some updates for this cool phone? I’ll appreciate that.

Sprint HTC Android Hero 2.1 update released

Sprint hero finally got its update to Android 2.1, with a full version of HTC refettled sense to adapt to the new operating system. The update is being rolled out OTA (over-the-air),but can also be downloaded from the support site of Sprint and HTC Sync installed via a PC.

However, it is worth noting that the installation of the Sprint Android Hero 2.1 update will remove the entire contents of the device in the process. This means to back up data that you are not willing to lose and you can do it easily, if you are a PC user by using HTC Sync to do that.

The update takes apparently about 25 minutes to complete, and of course you will not be able to make or receive calls while the update is in progress. 2.27.651.5 Firmware offers several bug fixes and operating system settings, as well as voice recognition and a better synchronization of corporate email.
