Sprint Phone HTC EVO

Hi,Sprint HTC EVO is easily Sprint's best smartphone and one of today's top Android devices. I am really impressed as it also shows the promise of 4G facility. I am on the verge of buying it but need an overview on Sprint HTC EVO as I have some doubts in my mind. Can anyone brief me about this phone?

HTC 3D EVO review: Sprint 4G Android in three dimensions

First, as a Smartphone. It is a super Android device current with all the bells and whistles you could ask for: a dual-core, 1.2 GHz processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon), large battery pack (1700mAh) and the latest version of Android smartphone operating system (2.3.3) . It weighs 6 ounces.

Add to this the mark of Sprint 4G connectivity, the latest in Wi-Fi (802.11n) and Bluetooth (3.0), the screen layout on the stage of HTC "Sense" (with sound effects and audio visual) and with this you have a powerful fast, reliable, fun, new, new Android phone.

However, this is not only super Android device. 3D is called the Evo for good reason. He has been blessed with an autofocus, flash and dual dual-lens camera, 5 mega pixel 3D support (and a 1.3 MP camera on the forehead), and a special screen double layer 4, 3 inches (QHD, 540 by 960 pixels, 16:9) in the front. Together, let you create, view pictures and video in 3D.

Normally, I'm not a big fan of 3D. Furthermore, although the lenses are very close together and the effects seen on the screen-parallax-regular-screen could be considered only / some in 3D - in general, the effect is excellent. Especially when you figure that you do not have to wear special glasses to see it.

Take a look at movies and 3D games are included with the phone. They're fun. Especially when you are looking for short bursts. I'm not sure I'd spend two hours watching an entire movie in 3D (in particular Green Hornet 3D epic with the phone). But, when used carefully, I bet you will notice this very interesting trick.

A note about Sprint 4G services: for the record, the 4G WiMAX is fast but not as fast as the Verizon 4G LTE. I was able to get download speeds consistently between 1 and 4 Mbps, which is not negligible.

Verizon LTE 4G can (and does) provide speeds of nearly three to four times faster than WiMAX. So too can the next version of "42 Mbps" T-Mobile, HSPA + 4G network currently available in more than 100 small cities in the U.S. It is also testing (both by T-Mobile and KnowYourCell) in New York and San Francisco.

The build quality and the learning curve and the overall functioning telephone was (and remains) high index.

I was able to get a full day of life in a single session with the larger battery. That means turning off the 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS is not absolutely necessary. Sprint claims to have up to 6 hours continuous talk time (whatever that is). I only know use may vary in the way of using the phone.

The EVO is on a higher level as the 4G Android Smartphone in 3D. Think of things like whipped 3D on a cake. If you are interested in 4G Android Smartphone premium - or the extra attraction of 3D without glasses, this smartphone should be on your short list to see.

The 3D Evo currently sells for a penny under $ 200 with a service contract from Sprint two years.
