Would Steve Jobs design an iCar if he were alive?

We’ve always asked ourselves one question; if Steve Jobs were alive, what would have been his next iCreation? J. Crew and Mickey Drexler, current CEO of Apple, when asked, told at an interview at Fast Company’s Innovation conference that the next thing Steve Jobs wanted to build was an iCar.

What the iCar look like?

For Apple executives, the car industry of America is a tragedy and Steve Job dreamed to design the iCar and give America another innovation that would capture the world’s fancy just like other Apple products. If made, the car would have grabbed 50 percent market share of the American car industry alone. But, the sad things remains that Steve Job is no more with us to lead the way ahead and while he was alive, he never got the chance to design even a vague prototype of the same.

I don’t think anyone of us is capable of ideally defining the car that Jobs had conceived. Getting inside his brain and thinking his thoughts is not our cup of tea, but if the idea would have ever seen the light of the day, we bet it would have become the world leader of the car world. Definitely it would have had no ugly buttons for one thing and for everything else, it would have been simplest to operate and share the beauty and sleekness of all Apple products. And, but obviously it would have enjoyed integration with various Apple devices, but the fact remains it was not meant to be.

This apart, Drexler did throw some light on Apples plans to bring something for your living rooms soon and speculations hint that it might the Apple Television, but of course no concrete info is available yet.
