As the Apple’s iPhone 4 press conference concludes with Apple CEO Steve Jobs stressing “There is no Antennagate,” and that that there are only 0.55% complaints regarding the problem of the iPhone 4′s antenna, it simply goes on to prove what MG Siegler (TechCrunch) predicted before the Press Conference.
Here’s what Siegler writes:
the iPhone 4 actually has the best antenna Apple has ever produced. They’ll probably have results to back this up as well. The focus will be on the facts that Apple has studies to prove. And the idea behind all of this is to drill it into our heads that the antenna issue is being blown out of proportion. That it’s an easy headline about a hot product.
However, as Steve Jobs points out that “it’s certainly not unique to the iPhone,” it came as a shocker that BlackBerry Bold, HTC Droid Eris and Samsung Omnia had similar signal issues. Finally, like others, we are convinced that there’s no way and no need Apple should attempt an iPhone 4 recall however, for all those disgruntled iPhone users, who didn’t like the FREE case/bumper idea should go for a total refund on their purchase. Oh, and all those who started off late with the iPhone hoopla, the white iPhone 4 will be shipping by end of July.
