The iPhone goes retro with the iDial app

The Apple iPhone is one bling device that has got more than it’s share of cutting edge apps since Apple first released the SDK last year. Now the Apple iPhone goes retro with a hot little app called the iDial from MUC. The iDial basically harks back to the yesteryears when telephones used to have round dial keys. As the iPhone has a touch sensitive screen, you can actually turn this round dial around to dial a number. Along with turning the iDial around, you also have some sound effects thrown in for good measure to give you that authentic dialing experience. Even as you turn the dial around, the number will pop up on the top of the screen, thus preventing wrong dialing. If the iDial makes it to the 3G iPhone which might just feature haptic touch technology, it would one killer app that every iPhone junkie would love to have.
