Running out of power on your iPod touch could soon become history as the radJacket is here. The radJacket is actually an iPod case which contains an extra rechargeable battery that is meant to be used after your iPod Touch’s battery gets emptied. The case will also double up as a tough protective case to protect your iPod Touch from nicks and scratches. The radJacket’s battery will provide your iPod the required power through your iPod’s connecting port and the lithium-ion battery can be recharged with the built-in mini USB port. The radjacket will get fully charged in about three hours, and it’s battery is designed to last an estimated 500 charging cycles before it starts losing it’s charge sustaining capacity. The only downside to the radJacket is it’s considerable weight of 125 grams, which when combined with the iPod Touch will result in a weight of almost a quarter kilo. Apart from this little gremlin, the radTouch looks like a very handy iPod accessory, especially for those who travel a lot.
