I use a Lenovo thinkpad X1 notebook. It has the windows 7 Pro as the deafult installation. I have not made any major changes yet. I have some broadband issue apart from that my major concern is is the fan noise problem. The fan is very loud and it starts after 10 minutes of booting up. Is it like a very popular issue with the x1 ? Are there any BIOS updates for the laptop so far? Os there a way I can manual slow down the fan to something quieter?
