How to unlock Pantech Matrix C740 Blue?

I got a Pantech Matrix through AT&T. The phone locked to AT&T, I’m trying to use it with boost mobile it gets signal but not working, a few people told me that it couldn’t be used with boost but one of my friends has one and his works fine with boost, I just cannot figure out what settings need to be changed for it to work, I can even use my sim card in his phone and it works fine, any help would be great full.

And the other thing you can do is to enter the SIMunlock code, do the following: Put AT&TSIM card in C740, Turn on, Enter *#876355# on idle screen, SIM Unlock Process - Click Yes, Enter 8 digitsunlock code and click OK , Re-enter the unlock code, Unlock Process Complete, Click OK .
