Could someone tell me about cell phone signal boosters?

I'm looking to setup a signal booster, I usually get 1 or so bars by the window, not the best. I found one site, but the price is a LOT. I am hoping someone out there can help me, I have done a few searches but I have no idea what the differences are between each brand and model. I want a wireless one, and please tell Are cell phone signal boosters worth the high price? Hope anybody has any experience with signal boosters will help me out!

Even I had similar problems signal reception problems with my At&T network since I have shifted my home to Oklahoma, there has been a severe network problems in some of the areas of the region. I was really stuck in a big time mess due to these signal problems till one of my friends who was also my neighbor suggested me the about the signal boosters or the cell phone repeater device. And you will be glad to know that yes it worked, cell phone repeaters help me to a lot of extent.

He suggested me zBoost YX-510 Cell Phone Signal Booster, because he was already using it and was really happy with its performance. And since I got the signal booster installed in my home I got rid of the signal problems and now I can easily make calls even from the basement of my house.

The Wi-Ex zBoost YX510-PCS-CEL significantly boosts your cell network reception and thus makes it a lot easier to operate. Also, it has a wireless connection which adds up to the reception of your phone. The zBoost works with both GSM and CDMA phones and has the ability to operate on both the 800 and 1900 frequencies, so all major carriers and most U.S. cell phones are supported. And as it is available for just $295.88 on Amazon.com I will advice you not to waste any time and just order it to get rid of dying signals in your phone.

As you stated your situation of receiving really low signals at your place, then signal boosters may be the best solution for your problem. I found this wireless system for just $300, which was not a big amount to spend to get good signals I think. Hope you make the right decision.
